All I really wanna know is how to efficiently crack one open. Like, is there a method to doing it without getting shell in my eggs? Or do I just kinda have to deal with that part? Idk. Either way, I've been really enjoying the turkey eggs from my local farm. I mix one with 2 chicken eggs (along with a couple of waffles or pancakes) for a nice hearty breakfast. Great way to start the day feeling energized. I just wanna know if theres an easier way to open them as theyre way tougher than chicken eggs.

Our Emus are hatchlings. We had five earlier, and let them into the cow pen with some small goats. They were happy. We learned the fence wire needs to be at least two feet below ground to keep wild dogs out. Our new batch run around the lanai and dog run. They like to snuggle with the family. Very odd crazy birds. Our cockatoos communicate with them and they sleep around the cages.not all eggs are fertilized and the eggs are amazing when mixed with cream and poured over onions and garlic. The shells help the tomatoes grow big. They eat cow food, scraps, corn and everything in between. We would never hurt our Emus, cows, ducks, chickens or kikiricees; miniature chickens.

The best rooster I've had wandered in our yard and stayed for about 10 years. He was multi colored and I was never sure what breed he was. But he was wonderful, we could walk anywhere in the yard and he never bothered anyone. Never aggressive toward people of any age. He fought many fights for his girls. He taught other young roosters how to behave. His last fight we found him in the yard and got ready to bury him when he moved! It took several days for Bob to gt around again but he recovered. He was left with a limp and looking awfully beat up but lived several more months. I hate that he past. I don't ever think I'll find another as good as our Bob.

HMMMMM!!! old guy here.... I'd like to add to your info!!! When training Anything to lead, cows included... It's !00% about the pressure you put on the rope and WHEN you release it !! You will succeed very quickly IF... When they pull, the pressure is maintained steady and they get NO "reward" (or release of pressure).... BUT !!!! if the animal steps towards the pressure it is VERY IMPORTANT that the pressure is instantly released! (as a reward) Watch their feet VERY closely! The instant you see the intent to step forward slack the rope!! and afirm with your "low calm gentle voice" gooood girl... after a short wait... "come cow" and gently increasing pressure, watching the feet VERY CLOSELY for an instant release when she gives to the pressure. WHY would she lead if it makes no difference to the pressure??? In time if you gently waggle the rope "come cow" and walk... you wont need to pull at all.. IF she pulls maintain steady firm pressure and use your "angry voice" AAAHHHH!! until she stops.. then ease pressure a bit not completely and change voices "come cow" lessons should be short and not more than 15 mins and definitely end on a positive win... good girl off you go!! pat pat! Your welcome!
